Mission: Our mission is to bring the "law to life" for the young people of Maryland and help prepare them for positive, productive citizenship. To fulfill its mission, Citizenship Law-Related Education Program for the Schools of Maryland (CLREP) has four goals. They are: 1) to improve students' and teachers' knowledge and understanding of the law and legal process of our justice system; 2) to foster a more constructive attitude toward the law; 3) to provide teachers with methodologies and techniques suited to teaching citizenship law-related education and 4) to mobilize community resource people to become involved in citizenship law-related education.
