Mission: LINC is a consumer-based resource center which provides opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to use computer technology to achieve independence and productivity in personal and community life.

Description of Programs and Services: LINC services include: hands-on consultations, technical assistance via telephone, open houses with technology demonstrations, an assistive technology lending library, open lab hours, and workshops. LINC also sponsors programs that are funded by local foundations, state and city government as described below. 1) Fast-LINC is a project in five Baltimore City public schools where children and teachers learn to use computers to improve children's academic achievement. 2) Tech for Tots introduces adaptive technology to very young children, their parents, and therapists in early intervention programs. 3) Tech-Create is a technology/creativity program for inner-city adolescents that incorporates creative writing, multimedia production, digital photography and graphic design. 4) Summer Computer Arts Camp brings together children with and without disabililties to develop skills in creative writing, graphic arts, music, and digital photography. 5) The House Calls Project provides technology services for adults and children in their homes. 6) Office Technology Training emphasizes computer skills such as keyboarding, data entry, and word processing that prepare transitioning high school students and adults for employment.
