Mission: The mission of the Baltimore Urban League (BUDL) is to improve educational opportunities for Baltimore City high school students by empowering them to become engaged learners, critical thinkers and active citizens who are effective advocates for themselves and their communities. Through their participation in team policy debate, BUDL strives to increase student academic achievement, increase graduation rates and encourage more students to continue on to college. BUDL is determined to make debate and its related academic and social benefits available to all students in Baltimore's public high schools.
