A new report outlines how the Foundation is addressing Jewish poverty in the United States. It highlights our work to raise awareness, strengthen nonprofit partners, and help individuals and families meet basic needs and achieve economic stability.

Stable, affordable housing is essential to strong communities. But rising costs, limited land, and market-driven development are pushing out long-term residents.

When communities have greater access to land, they can plan for the long term. Community-led development is paving the way for creating housing that stays affordable for generations.

The Foundation has given land to Kauaʻi Housing Development Corporation and Kauaʻi Habitat for Humanity to support a new affordable housing development in Līhuʻe. Together with nonprofit partners, we are advancing a community-led solution to the island’s severe housing shortage — one designed to preserve long-term affordability and help residents build stable lives.
