Over the next two years, the Foundation will support renovations and equipment for 10 day-care centers for older adults throughout Israel, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure they are able to age independently — and with dignity — in their homes.

In Israel, the percentage of young adults who are not employed, in school, or in training far exceeds the average when compared to their counterparts in other countries. To address these disparities and other barriers to employment, the Foundation’s grantmaking focuses on connecting people throughout the country with high-quality jobs.

Earlier this month, the Foundation committed $850,000 in grants to aid initial relief efforts in communities severely affected by the wildfires on Maui.
