The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation hosted its 5th annual Employee Giving Program July 26 at Pier 5 at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.

At the event, 15 employees each presented a check for $10,000 to one of 15 Maryland nonprofits for a total of $150,000 in grants.  The Employee Giving Program, launched in Baltimore in 2007, involves all Foundation employees in the grantmaking process and allows employees to support a cause of their choice consistent with the Foundation’s mission and grant guidelines.
