Roberta’s House celebrates opening of first bereavement center in the country founded by, and serving, the African American community

Weinberg Foundation grantee Roberta’s House recently celebrated the opening of their new Grief Support Center located in East Baltimore.

This fully accessible center helps individuals and families recover and heal from loss and grief through comprehensive programs, including counseling, peer support, education, research, and holistic practices. The Weinberg Foundation provided $3.2 million for the completion of this project.

Since its inception, Roberta’s House has provided services to more than 8,000 children and adults. To learn more about this new center, and Roberta’s House, click here.
