Weinberg Foundation grantee United Way of Central Maryland has launched its expanded 211 call center system. In partnership with the Baltimore City Health Department, the expanded system will better coordinate case management for older adults by connecting calls to Baltimore City’s Maryland Access Point (MAP).
This new pathway will provide older adults with easier access to aging and disability information, including critical resources such as public benefits, housing, food, and health care.
The Foundation provided a $480,000 grant toward this project.
