2011 Annual Community Gathering

Nearly 800 community, civic, and business leaders attended The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation Annual Community Gathering held on November 15 at Beth El Congregation in Pikesville.

The Foundation celebrated $86 million in grants paid during the past year and an additional $49 million approved for future payment.  Weinberg Foundation Trustee Ellen M. Heller spoke on the importance of partnership and collaboration in the Foundation’s grantmaking, highlighting the positive impact of several of these grants in Baltimore, across Maryland, and throughout the world.
