The featured video was entitled “From Field of Dreams to Dream Community — The Weinberg Village Story.”  And all who helped to make that dream come true celebrated the dedication of Weinberg Village V and the completion of Weinberg Village.

Donn Weinberg, Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation Chairman of the Board, was among those who delivered remarks and helped with the ribbon-cutting for Weinberg Village V.  Barry Schloss, Weinberg Foundation Trustee and Treasurer, and Michael Marcus, Weinberg Foundation Program Director for Older Adults, also were in attendance.

Weinberg Village provides affordable housing for older adults.  The 62-plus community offers residents the opportunity to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle while enjoying many amenities including a convenience store located within the community, on-site beauty salons cafe, and community rooms that are supplied with computers, games, televisions and books. In addition, residents take part in daily activities planned by resident volunteers and Weinberg Village staff members.
