Israel Mission Alumni Scholars Program 2011

The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation hosted its annual Israel Mission Alumni Scholars Program with featured speaker, Ms. Lee Berlman.

Lee is known as “tour guide extraordinaire” for her incredible work year after year leading Weinberg Foundation Missions to Israel. This year’s event, held at Suburban Club on October 25, was extra special.  Not only was Lee our featured speaker, we had a surprise for her!  Israel Mission Alumni spanning many years shared their memories and photos of Lee, all of which were woven into a video tribute and an accompanying book.  Also, Governor Martin O’Malley’s Chief of Staff, Matthew Gallagher, presented Lee with a proclamation of honorary citizenship in the State of Maryland.

Nearly 140 Israel Mission Alumni attended.
