Weinberg Foundation Honored with 12 Creative Awards in Global Competition

Hermes Creative Awards today announced winners for the 2015 international awards competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media.

The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation is honored to have received a total of 12 awards in this year’s competition including four Platinum and three Gold awards. The awards represent a variety of Weinberg Foundation projects, formats, and media (both print and video).

The Hermes competition has grown to one of the largest of its kind in the world. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. This year, there were more than 6,000 entries from throughout the United States and 22 other countries. Entries came from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, graphic design shops, production companies, web and digital creators, and freelancers.

Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, web, and freelance professionals. The Association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges, and sets standards for excellence.

Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) began in 1995 as a means to honor outstanding achievement and service to the communication profession. AMCP judges are industry professionals who look for companies, organizations, and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

Winners were selected from 195 categories grouped under advertising, publications, marketing/branding, integrated marketing, public relations/communications, electronic media, and pro bono. Approximately 15% of this year’s entries won the Hermes Platinum Award – the organization’s top honor, 22% won the Gold Award, and 11% received Honorable Mention. A complete list of Platinum and Gold winners can be found on the Hermes Creative Awards website: www.hermesawards.com.
