Craig Mellendick

Chief Financial Officer

Craig is an experienced financial executive and business leader that brings a unique combination of financial knowledge, operating capabilities, and people skills to pursue opportunities and solve challenges facing an organization. He works collaboratively with other business leaders to establish strategic goals and enhance business processes that improve the efficiency of operations. 

He has more than 30 years of experience in the operations, financial, and accounting fields. Prior to joining the Weinberg Foundation, he was the chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of Enterprise Community, a large national not-for-profit organization that creates opportunity for low- and moderate-income people through affordable housing in diverse, thriving communities. Prior to that, he held several progressively responsible accounting and finance positions with two real estate investment trusts—General Growth Properties and The Rouse Company. He has also performed audit and consulting services for one of the nation’s largest accounting firms, KPMG.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Loyola University in Maryland and graduated summa cum laude. He is a certified public accountant.
